Applications are now open for the 12th Edition of the Green Week Fellowship, taking place on May 2-4, 2023, as part of the Green Week Festival.

The Green Week Academy is aimed at English-speaking BA, MA and PhD students and intends to offer a unique opportunity for meeting, exchange and training, through guided tours in companies that are true excellencies for their sustainable products and/or processes.

The Green Week International Fellowship will take place from May 2 (Tuesday) to May 4 (Thursday) 2023. All activities will be held in English. Italian-speaking students may apply for the Green Week Academy, taking place on May 2-4 (click here).

Fellowship to participate in the Green Week Academy

The Green Week International Academy aims at offering international students the opportunity to take part in the tour through our fellowship programme covering 50% of the participation fees.

Preview of the Fellowship Programme: The SUSTAINABLE FACTORIES STUDY TOUR is a three-day guided tour among the most innovative companies in terms of eco-sustainability. Selected candidates will meet entrepreneurs, managers and professionals through a programme of guided visits and workshops that will discuss the scientific, cultural and technological approaches adopted by each company in the field of sustainability. Participants will thus be able to learn about the technologies and products that will mark the future in the relevant sectors.

Benefits for selected students

Over the past twelve years, more than 12,000 undergraduate and Phd students have participated in the Academy Project run by Goodnet. Through our activities, we offer students the unique opportunity to meet and exchange views with well-known professionals and experts in the field, participate in training activities, as well as to join a network of international students sharing similar educational and professional backgrounds.

Our fellowship programme grants:

  • Participation in guided tours through the most innovative companies in the field of sustainability;
  • Bus transfers for the whole duration of the itinerary;
  • Full board accommodation in 3-4 bed rooms for the entire duration of the stay (from Tuesday 2 to Thursday 4 May, 2023); single or double-room accommodation is available at an additional cost.

Our fellowship programme covers 50% of the participation fees. In order to confirm participation to the Academy Programme, selected students are required to pay a participation fee of 290,00 Euros.

The Academy Programme does not cover travel expenses to/from the city of residence.

Applications will be selected and approved subject to availability.

In order to successfully complete the Academy Programme and obtain the final certificate, selected students are required to attend the programme of events and actively contribute to the activities defined by the organizing committee of Green Week.

Applications will be selected on a weekly basis following criteria such as resume, course of study/research project, motivation letter.

Our team will provide selected students all information regarding calendar of activities, accommodation, meals, as well as details to pay participation fees.
